Samuel is Head of Fisheries & Aquaculture at the Marine Conservation Society where their team works to make sustainable seafood the only choice for consumers. Samuel has worked for MCS for five years where he has ran projects to encourage businesses to adopt responsible seafood buying practices, and projects to influence government fisheries policies. Samuel has also worked as a marine researcher and Commonwealth fisheries observer, and ran projects in Australia to reduce the environmental impacts of commercial fishing gear. He has an Honours Degree in Applied Marine Science, is a keen diver and surfer, and is a seafood enthusiast.
