Director of Food & Beverage  -  Corinthia Hotel London
Benjamin’s passion for service began while he was working in a student bar in his native Austria; shortly after he enrolled in hotel school in Bad Ischl.
Benjamin joined Corinthia Hotel London as Food & Beverage Director in October 2017 where he is responsible for overseeing Corinthia’s food and beverage offerings, including the recently opened Kerridge’s Bar &Grill with Michelin-
starred Chef Tom Kerridge, The Northall Restaurant & Bar, the cocktail bar Bassoon and the Crystal Moon Lounge which serves traditional British afternoon tea.
Prior to this Benjamin spent almost five years with the Maybourne Hotel Group working in key positions including Assistant Food & Beverage Director at The Berkeley Hotel and Events Manager at The Connaught. In 2014 Benjamin
was appointed as Restaurant Director to open the critically acclaimed Fera at Claridge’s with Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan. Additionally, Benjamin has worked with world-renowned chef Nuno Mendes at Town Hall Hotel and co-founded X.O. Beef, an innovative supplier of speciality beef in Austria.
A jazz enthusiast and well-practised skier Benjamin enjoys travelling, Sazerac cocktails, Biodynamic wine and lives in East London with his partner and young son Jacob.
